    • The overall survival rate of COVID-19 here in America is 99.35 % 1
    • The number of cases that are being reported is rising because people are not in isolation anymore. This has to eventually happen because we can’t all stay in isolation indefinitely.
    • The current death toll from COVID-19 in the US is 128,035.2 On the other hand, heart disease kills 647,457 Americans every year. Cancer kills 599,108.3
      • As scary as those figures might sound, even if you add them all up, that’s less than 1/2 of one percent of our country’s population.
    • Countries like Sweden did not lockdown and do not recommend wearing masks in public4 and their COVID-19 numbers are similar to the rest of the world. (0.0076 of their population has had a confirmed case of COVID-19)5,6

6. In order to arrive at this calculation, I divided the current number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sweden (78,048 as of this writing according to Worldometer and divided it by the total population.
